Is Christmas REALLY over ?

The picture above is a small casita owned by a friend of my husband John. That is where all the noisy paella parties take place. If walls could talk???????

This was quite high up on our Christmas walk. It shows an area that someone has painted the view onto tiles. It's the whole of the Segaria mountain. Close to where we live.

Well, I have found myself with a few minutes to spare. So I thought I would enter the blogging world again. I hope there is someone out there going to read this?Has Christmas really come and gone? I can't believe it. I thought I would show you pictures of our walk on Christmas Day before sitting down to a barbecue of very large prawns, and for my husband a brontosaurus steak + Chips (that he is not normally allowed to eat CHIPS I mean). The look on his face said it all.Perhaps better not show you that. He thought he had died and gone to heaven.

I am now waiting to start the Strathmore online workshops. I cannot wait. The first is with Traci Bautista who does quite a lot of mixed media work. Very bright colours and very off the wall. OHHHHHHH!!!!!!! hurry up 1st January..........

This is OZZY the background is watercolours sprayed onto the page and left to drip down. I then used coloured pencils & a Pentel brush pen to do the drawing. I also added some collage.

Here we go again

Well, I'm back again I wanted to show pictures of new journal page but silly camera has gone and died on me. So it will have to go to the camera hospital. Hope the nice camera doctor can get it working again. Fingers crossed. No extra euros for a new one.
So, I will show you some of my other artwork for now, until we are up and running again.
By the way it has actually stopped raining today. But I & everyone else have webbed feet now.

I follow Carla Sonhiems blog and each week she sends via email  a blob of paint or something that you have to look at turn around and try to find something that you see in it and create a picture. This was just cracks in a pavement and I saw Nellie. Strange mind I have!!!!! Her e-course The art of silliness looks a blast and one of these fine days (if we get anymore) I will subscribe.

Here's a card I made for a Spanish couples wedding day. I went to a course in Javea quite some time ago and the lovely Sue showed us how to make one like it. 1st Blog

Well here I am, first blog YAHAYYYYY!!!!!!! This has been a long time coming. Now to see if I can get to grips with Blogger. I have been wanting to get involved in blogging for a long time. I follow so many other peoples blogs I thought it was time I took the plunge. So here I am.........

The above is two pages from my art journal that tells a little about where I live. That is the Valencia region of Spain. We are surrounded by oranges & lemons. I only have to walk down the road and there they all are. Plus in our garden as well.

This is another set of pages from my art journal showing our lovely rescue dog Bilko. He is a joy to own & gives us so much pleasure.
